What's Silica Ramming Mix
Silicious ramming material is made of high purity micro crystalline quartz sand, powder, adding high temperature sintering agent and mineralizing agent mixed into dry ramming material. As its proprietary design of granularity distribution, dense unshaped furnace lining can be obtained through a variety of knotting methods.
Because the grain of quartz is small(the size of grain is 6µm-260µm), do not use H3BO3, as a result of the effect of mineralizer, the conversion rate of α-tridymite is high after sintering in the first oven, the furnace drying time is short, it has excellent volume stability, thermal shock stability and high temperature strength. In normal use, the backing keeps a certain loose layer.
Application for Silica Ramming Mix
It is mainly used for melting, working furnace lining of the coreless induction furnace with cast iron cast steel.
